Hooper
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Hooper is a tech-driven basketball platform that provides players with real-time tracked statistics from their pickup games, using smart basketball and wearable technology. The digital platform allows users to connect, play, and share their stats within a community of like-minded players.
The idea for Hooper came from experiences playing pickup basketball with friends. How could the pickup game be taken to another level of competitiveness and enjoyment? What if there were a product and platform that allowed you to see your stats and share them with a community of other players?
The key objectives of this project were to: (1) Develop a cohesive brand identity that fuses basketball, technology, and community. (2) Design a marketing strategy that attracts early adopters and engages players. (3) Design an intuitive app that integrates real-time stat tracking, gamification, and community features.
SOLUTION
My solution integrates branding, marketing, and app experience to create a seamless, competitive, and community based basketball platform. A bold visual identity with a modern logo, high-energy aesthetics using imagery, color, and typography. A strategic marketing approach delivers strong recognizable messaging that introduces the brand and product to consumers. An app experience that offers real-time stat tracking, box scores, social features, and gamification, making pickup games more competitive and engaging. Together, these elements position Hooper as the only platform for players to track stats, compete, and connect like never before.
